First of all I give some news of some of our club members:

Four people have gained Distinctions: 

    Paul Japheth  (Dwyfor  & Eryri))      LRPS    
Gareth Jenkins  (Dwyfor & Eryri )         ARPS    
Andrew Kime  (Blaunau Ffestiniog )        ARPS    
Margaret Salisbury  (Eryri)                    MFIAP 
Margaret was also awarded a Gold Medal for the Best Monochrome in the recent PAGB Inter-Federation Print Exhibition & Competition. 
A CD of this excellent Exhibition of the best of amateur photography in the UK is now available in North Wales.

Emyr Roberts won 2 sections of the Snowdonia National Park Photo Competition. 


EXHIBITIONS
The annual NWPA Exhibition is now showing at Bodelwyddan Castle until 4th October.
Caernarfon CC  Exhibition is on show from 3 Aug. - 5 September in the Library Gallery in Caernarfon.
Dwyfor CC
Exhibition will be on show  17 - 29 August at Neuadd Dwyfor (Cinema/Library) in Pwllheli. 

PRINTS & PDIs FOR SELECTION,
PLEASE
We need to select work for North Wales submission to the PAGB Inter-Federation PDI Exhibition and the Celtic Challenge (prints & PDIs) and also for the Eryri Group entry to the Print Championship.Would you please put up to 10 of your best images on a CD (Digital Rules attached) and send this, together with a list of those images to: 
David Flitcroft,  18 Glorian Estate,  Amlwch,  LL68 9DT  by 4th September.   
We would like to collect prints at the next NWPA Executive Meeting at Capel Curig on Sunday 13 September.
so please give your best prints to your club Delegate to bring along and encourage your fellow club members to submit prints and PDIs.

CELTIC  CHALLENGE
This annual event is being hosted this year by North Wales and will take place in the Craig-y-Don Community Centre in Llandudno on Saturday 26th September
The other regions competing will be:    Cornwall,  Isle of Man,  Northern Ireland,  Scotland,  Southern Ireland & South WalesFurther information will be sent to all clubs nearer the time. 

RPS  NORTH  WALES  REGION
Sunday 18th October

PAGB  PRINT  CHAMPIONSHIP    
Saturday  24th October  10.00  at Deeside College, Connah's Quay. 

The newly acquired projection equipment will ensure greatly improved (near perfect) images on the screen.  An opportunity to see the best in amateur prints in the UK.
